Summary: BTL is a legal education platform — not a law firm. By using BTL, you agree that we provide information, not legal advice. These terms govern your subscription, use of content, and membership rights.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing, registering for, or using BTL – Be The Law (“BTL,” “we,” “us,” “our”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service, our Privacy Policy, and our Legal Disclaimer. If you do not agree, do not use the platform. Continued use after updates constitutes acceptance of revised Terms.
2. Nature of Service
BTL is a legal education and information platform. We provide general legal research and educational content, legal document templates for educational purposes, strategy guides, a private member community, and live Q&A educational sessions.
BTL is NOT a law firm and does NOT provide legal advice. Nothing on this platform constitutes legal advice, and no attorney-client relationship is created. Always consult a licensed attorney in your jurisdiction for advice specific to your situation.
3. Membership & Subscriptions
3.1 Plans & Pricing
BTL offers monthly subscription plans (Starter at $39/mo, Pro at $99/mo) and a one-time Lifetime access plan ($4,997). All prices are in U.S. dollars.
3.2 Automatic Renewal
Monthly plans automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled before the renewal date. You authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis.
3.3 Cancellation
You may cancel your monthly subscription at any time through your account dashboard or by contacting [email protected]. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
3.4 Lifetime Plans
Lifetime plans are a one-time purchase. They are non-transferable and non-refundable after the 30-day guarantee window.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree NOT to share, distribute, or resell BTL content or login credentials to third parties; use BTL content to provide legal advice or services for compensation; copy or publish BTL content publicly without written permission; use the platform for any illegal purpose; harass or harm other members.
5. Intellectual Property
All content on the BTL platform — guides, templates, videos, research materials, branding, and design — is the intellectual property of BTL – Be The Law and is protected by copyright law. Your membership grants a limited, personal, non-transferable license for personal, non-commercial, educational use only.
6. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE PLATFORM AND ALL CONTENT ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT ANY WARRANTY, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. BTL MAKES NO WARRANTIES REGARDING THE ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS, OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE OF ANY CONTENT.
7. Limitation of Liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BTL SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THIS PLATFORM OR RELIANCE ON ITS CONTENT, INCLUDING ANY LEGAL OUTCOMES RESULTING FROM YOUR USE OF BTL INFORMATION OR TEMPLATES.
8. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration per American Arbitration Association rules, except where prohibited by law.
